These 2 notes from my brother Hussain Makke, reminded me of a notion that I have repeated many times – to myself and to others – in the last 13 months, while a genocide has been committed in front of our eyes in Gaza and yet, we are still alive; the notion that this life worth living, only if you live it for the sake of God; that’s the only justification I can think of.
